I. Product Positioning
This electric steam generator is custom built for precast beam yard curing work. It produces saturated steam to provide consistent temperature and humidity maintenance for newly poured bridge concrete members, including T-beams, box girders and hollow slabs. By speeding up concrete hydration and strength growth, it allows precast beams to reach the designated tensioning strength in a much shorter time. The equipment plays an indispensable role in improving overall production efficiency on prestressed precast production lines.
II. Main Structural Components
Movable Cabinet-Type Main Unit
The whole machine adopts double-door cabinet layout, integrating internal water tank, electric heating components and electric control system as one complete unit. Universal casters are installed at the bottom, so workers can easily push and transfer the equipment between different pouring beds according to on-site curing arrangements, without fixed installation positions.
Top Operation and Display Panel
The top panel is equipped with working indicator lights, operation buttons and steam pressure dial for real-time condition observation. The steam outlet valve is arranged at the upper right side, which connects with external thermal insulation steam pipes to deliver steam to the covered beam curing area.
Double-Door Maintenance Structure
The openable double-door design provides direct access to the internal cavity. It makes daily internal cleaning, heating element inspection, scale removal and water replenishing work simple and convenient, greatly lowering the threshold of daily equipment maintenance.
III. Core Performance and On-Site Advantages
Electric Steam Generation, Environmentally Friendly and Clean
The equipment relies on electric heating to produce steam, with no open flame, no smoke and no exhaust emissions. It fully meets the environmental protection and dust-free construction requirements of modern beam yards. The output steam temperature and pressure remain stable, which can keep the curing shed in a constant temperature and humid state. This effectively prevents surface dry cracking and temperature cracks during early concrete hardening, ensuring the finished concrete quality meets the standard before prestressing tensioning.
Automatic Protection and Standardized Curing
Built-in water level and pressure monitoring protection functions are equipped. The machine will automatically cut off power when the water level is too low and release pressure when overpressured, which effectively protects the heating components and ensures stable and safe curing parameters. Cooperated with conventional temperature and humidity detection tools on site, it can realize complete staged curing procedures including gradual heating, constant temperature holding and slow cooling, making the whole curing process more standardized.
Flexible Mobile Operation, Lower Equipment Investment
Different from traditional fixed steam pipelines, this wheeled generator can be moved freely on site. It supports cross-station circulating curing for multiple pouring beds. For most medium and small precast beam yards, one single unit can meet the circulating curing demands of multiple beams in batches, which saves the cost of purchasing multiple sets of equipment and laying fixed pipe networks.
Fast Heating Speed, Shorten Construction Cycle
Steam curing greatly accelerates the internal hydration reaction of concrete. In conventional natural environment, precast beams usually need about 7 days of curing to reach tensioning strength. With this steam curing equipment, the strength standard can be reached within 2 to 3 days, which significantly improves the turnover speed of formwork and beam beds, and greatly boosts the overall production progress of the precast yard.
Simple Daily Operation and Maintenance
The cabinet door design facilitates regular inspection and replacement of internal heating parts. Daily maintenance work is very simple, mainly including regular replenishment of softened water and timely discharge of internal sediment and scale. There is no complicated maintenance process, ensuring low failure rate and stable long-term operation on site.
IV. Typical Application Scenarios
This equipment is widely used for steam curing of highway and railway bridge precast concrete beams. It is also suitable for winter anti-freezing curing of large prestressed components, bridge pier caps and small box girders. In addition, it can provide heating and humidifying curing measures for underground basement prestressed structures in low-temperature winter construction, effectively avoiding concrete quality problems caused by low temperature.
