This machine is designed to work in tandem with a circular corrugated pipe making machine. It takes the circular metal corrugated pipes produced by the pipe maker and flattens them via a rolling process into flat pre-stressing corrugated ducts. These are specifically designed for pre-stressing channels in floor slabs and hollow-core slabs—applications where vertical space is limited and flat anchorage systems are required.
Enclosed Frame: Features a fully enclosed blue housing that protects the internal transmission mechanism from construction site dust; houses multiple sets of upper and lower pressure rollers.
Front-End Inlet: Equipped with a positioning guide; circular corrugated pipes are fed horizontally into the machine from this point.
Internal Roller Module: Multiple stages of rollers progressively squeeze the circular pipe into a flat cross-section of the specified width; the final roller performs shaping and correction to ensure flatness and consistent cross-sectional dimensions.
Side-Mounted Control Box: Controls machine start/stop functions and allows for the adjustment of rolling speed and the degree of flattening/compression.
Flat anchorages require flat duct spaces, making standard circular corrugated pipes unsuitable for direct installation. This machine flattens circular pipes into the required flat shape, making them perfectly compatible with 3-hole or multi-vertical-hole flat anchorage systems. It is essential equipment for the construction of unbonded pre-stressed floor slabs in basements and hollow-core bridge slabs.
Multi-stage rollers apply gradual pressure, ensuring uniform deformation without wall wrinkling or seam splitting (which could lead to grout leakage). A final correction roller rectifies any twisting or distortion caused during flattening, ensuring the finished flat pipe meets standards for straightness and cross-sectional precision.
The machine is compact and has a small footprint; it can be positioned directly at the discharge end of the circular pipe making machine, allowing for immediate flattening after pipe formation and enabling a streamlined production flow. It requires only manual feeding, with automatic rolling and discharge, making it easy to operate with a low learning curve. 4. Compatible with various round pipe specifications
By adjusting the gap between the pressure rollers, the machine can flatten round corrugated pipes of different inner diameters, meeting construction requirements for various duct widths.
Processing flat corrugated pipes for prestressed floor slabs (using flat anchorage technology) in large-span garages and basements;
Fabricating ducting for prestressed channels in narrow-section areas—such as the webs of hollow-core slabs and small box girders—in bridges;
Various prestressed structures where vertical space is limited and round corrugated pipes cannot be used.
Steel strip uncoiling → Round corrugated pipe machine forms round pipe → This machine flattens it into a flat pipe → Cut-to-length → Finished flat corrugated pipe
By connecting the two machines in series, a complete production line for both round and flat prestressed metal corrugated pipes is achieved.
