Arc Anchorage

Category

Features a long, flat design with a slim overall profile, making it suitable for members with limited cross-sectional height, such as floor slabs, hollow core slabs, and box girder flanges.

The anchor seat and bell-shaped guide sleeve are cast as a single unit and incorporate grouting holes, allowing for direct grouting of the duct through the side holes.

Two-stage annular reinforcing ribs resist stress concentration during tensioning, reducing the risk of cracking in the concrete at the anchor end;

Primarily used for large-span unbonded post-tensioned basement slabs, hollow-core bridge slabs, and narrow-section prestressed beams—scenarios where vertical space is too restricted to accommodate standard circular multi-strand anchorages.

I. Key Product Features

1. Flat Structural Design

Features a slender, flat layout with a low overall profile, making it suitable for components with limited vertical clearance—such as floor slabs, hollow-core slabs, and box-girder flanges—thereby resolving the issue of bulky circular multi-hole anchors consuming excessive vertical space;
The anchor base and trumpet guide are cast as a single unit with an integrated grouting channel, allowing grouting to be performed directly through a side port; this eliminates the need for additional grouting accessories and streamlines the construction process.

2. Material and Mechanical Properties

The anchor base and anchor plate are cast from ductile iron or high-strength gray iron, offering excellent compressive load distribution; dual-stage annular stiffening ribs resist stress concentrations during tensioning, reducing the risk of concrete cracking at the anchor end;
Equipped with quenched alloy steel wedges that provide secure, stable gripping of steel strands, ensuring that the load on each individual hole does not interfere with the others.

3. Construction Advantages

High level of pre-assembly integration: the trumpet guide and flat anchor plate can be positioned and combined in advance, facilitating easy alignment during formwork installation—ideal for large-scale unbonded post-tensioned slab construction;
Integrated grouting port: post-tensioning grouting and anchor sealing are performed directly through the side port, ensuring efficient duct sealing and superior corrosion protection;
Available primarily in 2-hole and 3-hole configurations, these anchors are designed for scenarios involving multiple steel strands arranged side-by-side, serving as specialized anchorage components for building floor slab post-tensioning systems.

4. Application Scenarios

Primarily used in projects where vertical space is too restricted to accommodate circular multi-hole anchors, such as long-span unbonded post-tensioned basement slabs, hollow-core bridge slabs, and narrow-section post-tensioned beams.
